Dear Resident

You are receiving this because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Felcourt Drive on Tuesdasy 29th September between 07:00hrs and 21:00hrs

The method of attack was by blow torch and then snapping the cylinder lock allowing entry. 

Victim is renovating a property, returns to the property and the door lock appears to have been burnt, suspect/s have entered the property, at this time nothing appears to have been taken

Firstly if you live nearby and have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between the above times to see if you had any activations. 

Secondly as a precaution, please check that your door locks are secure and correctly fitted. We recommend anti-snap locks with a 3 Star rating, certified to either TS007 or SS312 standards. These locks are available from many locksmiths and security providers.
